An Old Friend and New Friends

This weekend, Tatum and I went to visit one of my old college friends, Tabitha and her family. Her oldest son, Nathan, is also 5 and the boys were instant friends. It was so great for them to play together while Tabitha and I could catch up with each other. She also has a 4 year old daughter, Rebecca which shares a passion for Hannah Montana with Tatum. Here is a picture of the kids watching the Hannah Montana show. She also has a 6 month old son, Adam.

5 Year Old Birthday, Part Deux

On Saturday, Febuary 16th, our families got together to celebrate Tatum's birthday. Morgan and Brandon took him to the circus that morning and grandparents arrived that afternoon. He opened presents, then we went to one of his favorite place - the Japenese steakhouse. After dinner, we came home and had cake! He had a great day and it was wonderful having the family together.

PS - The roses you will see in the background of the photos were not for Valentine's Day. Tatum decided he NEEDED flowers for his birthday and those are the ones he picked out! Pretty funny!

Catching Up - Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Movie

Yes, we are some of those crazy people who HAD to see the 3-D Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus movie. Tatum LOVES Hannah Montana, I enjoy it as well and Mike finds it tolerable. So, we took a family outing with my Uncle Jim to watch the movie. Much to Mike's surprise, it was actually good. I really like Miley Cyrus and her CD is one of my favorites. (don't worry, I haven't lost my mind, I am aware of the fact that I'm almost 30!)

Catching Up - The Zoo

Tatum and I went to the zoo on one of those usually warm Sunday afternoons back in January. We had a such a great time! I took a TON of pictures because the first time we went to the zoo, my camera 'crashed' and I lost ALL the pictures. :(

Tatum's Birthday - 5 YEARS OLD!!!

Today is Tatum's birthday and what a great day it was!! He had a party with his Pre-k class and then we had a little celebration at home. Next weekend our families will get together for another celebration!
